Our Process

Ordering wedding stationery

The wedding stationery is the first major decision to make when starting to plan your big day. We are here to assist you every step of the way in choosing the best stationery suite for your wedding.

Here’s how our process works and the steps to follow in order to book our services for your wedding invitations:

  1. Explore our collections and pick the design that best suits your preference. If you already have a design in mind we can custom create it for you.
  2. Contact us at contact@ovaevents.com and let us know:
  • the items needed for your event (save the dates, invitations, envelopes, wax seals, rsvp cards, details cards, accommodation cards, reception cards, menus, place cards, vow booklets, guest books, coasters, hang tags, table numbers etc)
  • chosen design
  • quantity
  • paper colors
  • ink / foil colors
  • destination country

At this point we will set all the details necessary in order to bring your wedding suite to life. You can also order a sample kit for you to see our printed designs before booking our services. The sample kits are not customizable; they include various samples of our previous work where you can see types of print, card stock and paper colors etc. The cost of a sample kit 50 EUR.

  1. After all of the details have been gone through we will be able to calculate a final quote for you.
  2. If you decide to go ahead with our services we will issue an invoice for the advance. This initial invoice will consist of 25% of the quote and is non-refundable. For us to issue the invoice we will need your billing information (full name, full address). Please let us know if you would prefer paypal as method of payment. Upon payment your project will be booked in our calendar.
  3. At this point you will be sending us the final wording for each card and we’ll start working on the digital proofs. This step usually takes 3 – 5 business days. After we have everything ready we’ll be sending them to you for approval. During this step a total of 3 revisions can be made. Additional revisions will cost 75 EUR / revision. Please make sure you check all the texts to be correct as once the printing process starts there is no way to make any more modifications. Once we have your approval for the digital proofs we will issue the final invoice for the rest of 75% of the quote.
  4. Upon payment of the final invoice we’ll start the production process. It usually takes between 2 – 3 weeks for us to complete a project. If velvet / linen invitation boxes or folders are also part of the project the production process will take between 4 – 5 weeks to complete.
  5. Once we have your order printed and assembled, we will carefully pack everything so that the package will be delivered to you safely. We’ll be shipping your order either by courier or post office, depending on your country of destination and preferred method. Usually it takes between 5 – 21 days for an order to reach the destination (depending on country of destination), but some delays can occur due to customs. Please note that buyers are responsible for any custom charges. Please let us know if you’d like to add insurance on the delivery. We are not responsible for any losses, damages or delays caused by the delivery service.

Ordering corporate stationery

We know how important it is to have your visual brand identity come to life precisely as you envisioned it. In order to simplify the process here are the steps to take:

  1. For semi-custom stationery
  • explore our collections and pick the design that best suits your preference
  • contact us either at contact@ovaevents.com or via our Contact form and let us know: what items you need, chosen design, quantity, paper color, ink / foil color, destination country
  • after all the details are set we will send you the quote. If you decide to go ahead with our services we will issue the invoice for the 25% non-refundable advance payment.
  • upon payment of the advance we will then send the digital proofs for approval. A total of 3 design revisions are included in the quote. If additional revisions are necessary they will be done in exchange for a fee proportionate to the details required.
  • after we have your proof approval we can issue the invoice for the remaining balance and move on to the production process upon payment confirmation. Our usual production time is between 2 – 3 weeks from the moment of the proof approval and payment confirmation.
  • once we complete production and we have everything carefully packed we’ll be shipping your order either by courier or post office, depending on your country of destination and preferred method. Usually it takes between 5 – 21 days for an order to reach the destination (depending on country of destination), but some delays can occur due to customs.   1. For custom stationery
  • the main modification to the steps above is that you would be sending us your design/s in a vector file format (preferably .ai, .cdr or vector based .pdf). Please send it directly to our email at contact@ovaevents.com along with the rest of the details pertaining to the project as mentioned above.
